Monofocal IOLs

Monofocal IOLs were the first type of intraocular lenses, and they only offer vision correction at one distance. Typically, patients choose monofocal lenses for close vision, and they continue to rely on glasses or contacts for distance vision. This option is almost always covered by insurance.

Multifocal lenses

Multifocal lenses are premium options that provide vision correction at near, intermediate, and far distances meaning they function more like the natural lens. Many patients who receive multifocal lenses find that they rely less on glasses or contacts than they did before their surgery, and some patients no longer need corrective lenses at all. Toric IOLs

Toric IOLs are an excellent choice for patients with astigmatism. This condition occurs when patients have irregularly shaped corneas, leading to blurred vision at all distances. Acrysof® Toric IOLs can correct both astigmatism and cataracts in a single treatment.

Light Adjustable Lens

Light Adjustable Lens is the first and only lens that you can truly design/customize your vision after cataract surgery. We will customize your final vision after using the innovative technology of the Light Adjustable Lens. This means you will be able to test drive the lens and see the world, and we can adjust your vision after surgery based on what you see. As humans, we are wired to desire control of our lives. The LAL offers patients a unique level of control by postponing decisions about final vision until after surgery.
 
The lens is designed to allow you to preview a variety of visual outcomes so you can pick the exact vision you want after surgery. This lens gives you the ability to “Test Drive” their vision and define what is missing then it can be adjusted with UV light.
